Darren Shan

I love Darren Shan's books! Can't decide whether I like the vampire ones or the Demonata ones better, they all have their own merits. I think maybe....the Demonata ones, they're more creative and as a result more interesting. Demon Apocalypse was the best book so far! It was full of action and twists!

i agree that the demonata ones are better, there is definately a better storyline to it and i find that there is more suspence and tension in it as well, loved demon apocolypse but didnt like bec that much

Yeah, Bec was kinda boring... But I can see why it was included - it's another one of the strands that will come together in the end.

BTW, I like that Dervish used to be a punk with spiky hair!

lol i found it strange i the second book because i got used to reading aout him in the first book been serious and always on about magic, but it was kwl all the same

i agree that it does play part in the whole story line, i just cant wait for the next book now but we have to wait until june

yeah, i can reccomend all of the darren shan books, they are all good in one way or another, really good strong consisteant storylines and great lovable and hateable characters

It's best to start from the beginning really, like we did. Start with the vampire ones.. The first one's Cirque Du Freak, then The Vampire's Assistant, then Tunnels of Blood.... and so on...

i can lend some out, like three at a time, i cant led them all out at one go though

i haven't read any of them yet.. unbelievable for me.. i#'m usually reading the latest vamp or demon books...
time to get back to my quasi-legal tricks and catch up

Yeah they're real good. They get better as you go through them, as the character matures.
