has anyone else read this?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/lancashire/7316601.stm
man this makes me sick
just because she was a goth she's a free target for attacking?
wtf?
i thought we were tolerant over here
oh wait... that's just me and most of the people i know...
hmm.. but thats because most of us are goths or whatever ourselves and don't judge by appearances but by actions people make.
time for the world to grow up a lot and take responsibility for their own actions and the actions of the people in their care
even my mum who is only connected to the Goth and other subcultures through me has signed the online petition that the victims family and partner started online.
she finds it as disgusting as i do and thinks that the parent of the child that was laughing and joking are as responsible for his actions as he is himself
i really wish someone would explain why things like this are allowed to happen

That's what this country is turning into. It's happening frequently - disturbing. That's democracy for you.

Re: has anyone else read this?
I hate all this kind of discrimination. It's happening more and more. There was an article in Kerrang! mag this week about something similar, again it was two goths that were attacked. And in Mexico there's loads of trouble with people discriminating emos, that was in K! too. It makes me really angry to hear stuff like this, people who are attacked just because they dress differently, or like different music or whatever.
