Re: The Earthquake
I slept right through it.
I woke up at about 6am, checked my mobile and saw someone text me saying "omg has there been an earthquake". Looked outside, everything seemed normal. Turned the TV on, and saw on the breaking news ticker that there was an "earthquake that hit Britain at a Richter scale reading of 6.2". Shitting myself!

Re: The Earthquake
Lol, I struggle to believe that so many people slept through it... It woke me up, I was half asleep and I wasn't sure what was happening. Then I realised, and it stopped...

Re: The Earthquake
I thought it was all a dream so I decided to keep quiet until soewmone else verified it! Someone got up to the loo and must not have realised it woke them up. I never found out who it was though...
Does anyone know how long it lasted actually?

I'm at home, but I'm coming back in soon. Also will be making a trip to the bank. I assume you're in the English room?

Re: The Earthquake
I wasn't asking about Wikipedia on this topic, The Earthquake came while I was still awake. Sky News was the first to hear about it as BBC News was a bit slow. It was a rumble shaking my house as it was bad for the UK to have. People are certain that we will have an after effect which might be a very little shaking or just a little rumble noise.

Re: The Earthquake
I have now experienced two earthquakes... one in 2002 and one now. Apparently this one was a little worse than the one which occured in 2002.
